Job summary

Medical Director Services is seeking compassionate Podiatrists (DPMs) to deliver podiatric care in skilled nursing facilities across Connecticut. Build your schedule—one day a week to full-time options—while we provide patients, coordinate scheduling, and handle billing.

You will see residents for routine foot care, nail procedures, diabetic foot evaluations, and preventive care, with documentation in facility EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted podiatry license in the state of employment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Reliable transportation to your assigned facilities.
• SNF experience is a plus, but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality podiatric care to residents in skilled nursing facilities: routine foot care, nail debridement and nail procedures, callus reduction.
• Diabetic foot evaluations and preventative foot care assessments.
• Patient education and treatment recommendations; documentation using facility EMR systems (PointClickCare, SigmaCare).
