Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat foot and ankle conditions.
  • Perform in-office and surgical procedures as indicated.
  • Manage wound care and diabetic limb preservation.
  • Interpret imaging and diagnostic studies (X-ray, labs, etc.).
  • Prescribe medications, orthotics, and therapy plans.
  • Educate patients on prevention and long-term care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and referring providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
  • Participate in hospital rounding and alternating weekend call.

About the Opportunity

Apex Foot & Ankle Institute is seeking a skilled, motivated, and patient-focused podiatrist to join our growing practice in Thousand Oaks, California.

Compensation
  • Competitive base salary of $180,000–$225,000, based on experience and qualifications
  • 30%–40% production‑based incentive compensation after reaching an established production threshold of approximately 1.5–2 times the earned base salary
  • $10,000–$20,000 retention bonus after successfully completing one year of employment
  • Significant long‑term earning potential through practice growth, partnership, and potential ownership opportunities
  • Full compensation terms and production thresholds will be clearly defined in the employment agreement.
