Responsibilities

• Performed examinations on patients’ legs and feet to identify and diagnose diseases and conditions.
• Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
• Recommend medications and prescribe foot orthoses to improve mobility and relieve pain.
• Offer guidance on foot care and overall wellness practices for residents in long-term care.
• Coordinate with the care team and order necessary medical tests.
