  • Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries (e.g., fractures, corns, calluses).
  • Prescribe medications for pain and suggest foot orthoses to improve mobility.
  • Offer guidance on foot care and overall wellness practices.
  • Request additional tests as clinically indicated.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Podiatrist to join our team. As a Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in long-term care facilities. Responsibilities
  • Performed examinations on patients’ legs and feet to identify and diagnose various diseases and conditions.
  • Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
  • Recommend and prescribe medication for relieving joint pain and suggest foot orthoses to enhance mobility and alleviate discomfort.
  • Offer guidance and advice to patients regarding foot care and overall wellness practices.
  • Request additional medical tests as necessary based on the initial assessments.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
  • DEA License
  • Long-term care experience
  • Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Bending/stooping. Lifting/moving patients.
