Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a compassionate Podiatrist to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care in long-term care facilities. You will diagnose conditions, treat injuries, and work with a dedicated team to improve resident mobility and comfort.

Qualifications

  • Examinations and diagnosis of foot/ankle conditions.
  • Ability to order and interpret tests as needed.
  • Strong patient care and communication in long-term care settings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform examinations of patients’ feet and legs to diagnose conditions.
  • Treat foot/leg injuries including fractures, corns, and calluses.
  • Prescribe medications for joint pain and recommend orthoses for mobility.
  • Advise patients on foot care and overall wellness.
  • Order additional tests as indicated by initial assessments.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Podiatrist to join our team. As a Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in long-term care facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Performed examinations on patients’ legs and feet to identify and diagnose various diseases and conditions.
  • Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
  • Recommend and prescribe medication for relieving joint pain and suggest foot orthoses to enhance mobility and alleviate discomfort.
  • Offer guidance and advice to patients regarding foot care and overall wellness practices.
  • Request additional medical tests as necessary based on the initial assessments.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
  • DEA License
  • Long-term care experience
  • Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Bending/stooping. Lifting/moving patients.
