Medical Director Services PC is seeking experienced Podiatrists to service our skilled nursing facilities throughout Pennsylvania.

Summary:

Provide professional and medical podiatric services to patients with conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and related structures.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide essential at-risk foot care to the geriatric population.
2. Diagnose, treat, or prescribe treatment for the foot, ankle, and related structures using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory tests.
3. Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, and appropriate foot care methods.
4. Advise patients on treatments and foot care techniques to prevent future problems.
5. Record all diagnoses, treatments, and prescriptions accurately.
6. Refer patients to other physicians or specialists for consultation when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from an accredited school by the Council of Podiatric Medical Education.
• Current and valid license to practice podiatric medicine in the state of application.
