Responsibilities

• Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases and care needs.
• Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders of the feet and ankles.
• Perform wound care management.
• Diagnose foot and ankle conditions using medical histories, physical exams, x-rays, and lab tests.
• Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery as needed.
• Advise patients on treatment plans and preventive foot and ankle care.
• Provide education and consultations to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Promote health, prevention, and medication management.
• Maintain accurate medical records for assigned patients.
