Job summary

The MedServ Group is seeking a Podiatrist to join our team serving Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will provide expert podiatric care to residents, with a focus on quality outcomes and compassionate service in a multiple facility setting.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and compensation options including CPT-based payments or 35–40% of collections per visit, typically 1 visit per month under current terms.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) and active state license.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in a clinic or hospital.
• Excellent knowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments for the lower extremities.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Examine legs and feet to diagnose diseases.
• Treat foot and leg injuries including fractures, corns and calluses.
• Refer out foot and ankle surgeries when necessary.
• Prescribe joint pain relief medication and foot orthoses to improve mobility.
• Advise patients on foot care and general wellness.

The MedServ Group is a rapidly growing medical practice that provides residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities with top‑of‑the‑line care. We are currently searching for a talented Podiatrist to join our team! You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal Podiatrist is confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality healthcare to the elderly population.

Podiatrist Responsibilities

• Examining patient legs and feet to diagnose diseases.
• Treating foot and leg injuries such as fractures, corns, and calluses.
• Referring out foot and ankle surgeries where necessary.
• Prescribing joint pain relief medication and foot orthoses to improve mobility.
• Advising patients on foot care and general wellness practices.

Podiatrist Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) and active state license.
• 2 years plus experience in a clinic or hospital.
• Excellent knowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments for the lower extremities.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with the elderly.

Compensation and Benefits

• 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (typically 9:00AM-5:00PM). Flexible schedules also available.
• 22-25 patients per visit, preventative care.
• Part Time Compensation Options: Paid by CPT Code or 35% - 40% of collections ($1100 - $1250 per visit).
• All doctors are 1099 (independent contractors).
