Bay Area Community Health in Fremont, CA is seeking a licensed podiatrist for a full-time opportunity. You will evaluate and treat foot, ankle, and lower leg conditions, conduct comprehensive exams, review medical histories, and develop personalized treatment plans to improve mobility and quality of life.

This role requires a DPM, CA license, DEA license, CPR certification, a valid CA driver’s license, and willingness to travel between clinic locations.

Qualifications

• DPM degree from an accredited college of podiatric medicine.
• Current California Board of Podiatric Medicine license.
• Current DEA license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• Current Automobile Insurance.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

This role includes local travel between clinic locations and occasional day or overnight travel for events. Candidates must maintain professionalism and confidentiality while managing a dynamic workload.

THE IMPORTANT WORK YOU'LL DO

As our Podiatrist, you'll spend your days helping patients overcome foot, ankle, and lower leg conditions that impact their daily lives. You'll assess patients through comprehensive examinations, review medical histories, listen carefully to concerns, diagnose conditions through clinical evaluations, imaging, and laboratory testing, and develop effective treatment plans that improve mobility and overall health. You'll prescribe medications and orthotics when appropriate, educate patients on preventive care and wellness techniques, identify larger health concerns that may require specialist referrals, and provide counseling and support for both acute and chronic podiatric conditions. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with physicians, specialists, and leadership regarding complex cases while remaining engaged in ongoing learning through trainings, conferences, workshops, meetings, and organizational initiatives that support both patient care and professional development.
