Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care across multiple clinical services, including the Foot and Ankle Institute and ASC. You will assist providers, perform clerical tasks and manage EHR documentation.

Required: high school diploma and accredited Medical Assistant program; preferred CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/PMAC/CCPMA certification; on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Three years' experience in a podiatric practice is highly preferred.
• Current certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/PMAC/CCPMA) preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care and assist care providers during examinations and treatment.
• Record vital signs and transport patients between facilities as needed.
• Prepare specimens, manage instruments and ensure proper lab workflows.
• Distribute and reconcile lab results, prescriptions and imaging orders.
• Handle clerical tasks, appointments, registrations and insurance verifications.
• Maintain records, schedules and billing-related data in EHR and practice management systems.
• Monitor inventory and ensure safety and compliance with TUHS policies.
