The ideal candidate has 5+ years editing audio/video podcasts, with proficiency in Adobe and/or Avid, and familiarity with Riverside and Descript. Collaboration with editorial, technical and marketing teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years editing audio/video podcasts.
• Proficiency in Adobe and/or Avid video/audio editing and mixing.
• Established knowledge of Riverside and Descript.
• Experience with scoring, utilizing music libraries.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Sharp editorial instinct with regard to use of broll/photo coverage in an edit.
• Collaborative skills, working with various teams.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit weekly video episodes for 48 Hours: Case by Case from recording through final delivery.
• Support editing and post-production for newly commissioned 48 Hours podcast series as needed.
• Assist with in-studio recordings and production support when required.
• Create platform-specific social video assets in collaboration with marketing and audience teams.
• Partner closely with editorial teams to ensure episodes meet creative, journalistic, and brand standards.
• Coordinate with technical and production teams to ensure smooth post-production and delivery.
