Job summary

Howard Community College’s Dragon Podcasts team seeks a part-time Dragon Podcast Assistant Manager to work with the Podcast Manager in planning, developing, and scheduling digital media productions and podcasts for Dragon Podcasts and the PRM Department. This role supports producing, directing, voicing, and editing podcasts and helps manage social media and events.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with digital media production, podcasting, journalism, or related fields.
Knowledge of digital recording equipment and professional audio editing software; strong technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Produce, direct, host, voice, and edit podcasts.
Plan, develop, and schedule podcasts (producing, directing, hosting, voicing, editing).
Upload podcasts to platforms.
Assist in managing social media platforms.
Promote podcast programming.
Create internship opportunities for students to learn hands-on with digital media production.
Promote Dragon Podcasts to increase audience.
Stay abreast of digital media trends to maintain innovation.
