Job summary

Butterfly Network, a leader in ultrasound technology, seeks a Clinical Development and Validation Manager to drive clinical perspective across POCUS products. You will translate clinical needs into validated software and product solutions, coordinating testing and integration activities with Imaging, Systems, Software, and Marketing teams.

The role emphasizes defining validation plans, reporting progress, and shaping product development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of R&D experience.
• Bachelor degree in Biomedical or Ultrasound preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing Ultrasound Medical Imaging in clinical environments; ARDMS certification required.
• At least 5 years' experience in diagnostic ultrasound with POCUS market expertise; RDMS/RVT/RDCS required.
• Excellent organization and time management; demonstrated leadership.
• Willingness to travel; ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical engagements, focus groups, and advisory boards to capture needs and requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical specialists and engineering to validate design outputs.
• Develop knowledge of diagnostic/monitoring tools used by PoC physicians.
• Define and execute Clinical Validation tests with traceability to requirements.
• Create and maintain plans and reports to support product development timelines.
• Participate in system life cycle and software integration testing.
