This includes, but is not limited to, QA review, instrument set-up and validation, calibration verification, linearity testing, new lot reagent verification, maintenance, troubleshooting, training of designated nursing personnel, inventory control, quality control, proficiency testing and participation in on-site inspections. Fosters teamwork in doing whatever is necessary to maintain a smooth running POCT program. Ensures compliance with enterprise POCT program.**QUALIFICATIONS**Baccalaureate degree in clinical laboratory science, or equivalent field of study.Prior experience in Point of Care Testing preferred but not required.Minimum of 4-5 years experience as a CLS in an acute care setting hospital setting.Familiar with regulatory compliance and College of American Pathologists laboratory standards.Basic knowledge of performance improvement, education, and training principles.Basic knowledge of inventory management and equipment evaluation.**License/Certification**Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) licenseASCP certification recommended.**Salary Range:**$63.65 - $95.48 USD Hour**The Physical Requirements and Working Conditions of this job are available.
