Pocono Maker Space Instructor

Summary: The Pocono Maker Space located on the Pocono Campus in Tannersville, PA is always looking for experts in technical fields ranging from “Old World” hand crafting to new, state-of-the-art, and emerging technology to teach non-credit classes.

Responsibilities: Teach industry-relevant classes in wood working, sewing (industrial and embroidery), and 3D printing. Design course materials and engage students in hands‑on learning experiences. Collaborate with the Maker Space team to support pedagogical best practices.

Qualifications

• Expert in the field of instruction/design and the relevant technical fields.
• Prior teaching or instructional experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate woodworking equipment (saws, CNC router, lathe), industrial sewing machines, embroidery tools, and 3D printers.
