You will repair, overhaul, test, and troubleshoot pneumatic aircraft components such as valves, starters, ACMs, and PDUs, ensuring compliance with procedures and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years hands-on experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and good English communication.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with pneumatic valves, starters, ACMs, or PDUs.
  • Strong aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
  • FAA A&P License or Repairman Certificate preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Repair, overhaul, inspect, and troubleshoot pneumatic aircraft components.
  • Work on pneumatic valves, aircraft starters, ACMs, and PDUs.

Job Summary

Our client, a well-established FAA-certificated jet accessory repair station, is seeking an experienced Pneumatic Component Technician to join their aviation MRO team. This position will focus on the repair, overhaul, testing, and troubleshooting of pneumatic aircraft components, including complex valves, starters, air cycle machines (ACMs), and pneumatic drive units (PDUs). The ideal candidate is a highly skilled technician with strong attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and hands‑on experience working with aircraft pneumatic components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair, overhaul, inspect, and troubleshoot pneumatic aircraft components.
  • Work on pneumatic valves, aircraft starters, air cycle machines (ACMs), and PDUs.
  • Diagnose component issues and perform necessary repairs in accordance with established procedures.
  • Conduct scheduled aircraft maintenance checks and component inspections as required.
  • Ensure all work meets FAA, safety, quality, and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation.
  • Identify potential issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and team members to meet production and quality objectives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of hands‑on experience working with pneumatic valves, starters, ACMs, PDUs, or similar aircraft components.
  • Strong aircraft maintenance and component troubleshooting experience.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic systems and identify component failures.
  • Strong written, verbal, and reading comprehension skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Repairman Certificate preferred, but not required.
