Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT is seeking a PN Program Instructor to teach nursing theory, skills and clinicals to students alongside the primary instructor, using CT Department of Public Health curriculum outlines; instruction may be delivered in-person and online.
The ideal candidate holds an active CT RN license and a BSN or MSN, has clinical experience, and can engage learners with strong communication, computer skills and a commitment to professional development.
The PN Program Instructor will be responsible for teaching nursing theory, skills and clinicals to a number of students related to their field/topic working alongside the primary instructor. Instructional material and an outline of the curriculum from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health is provided to develop a curriculum with the primary instructor. The material presented to students may be in combination of in-person and online.
