Job summary

Unitek Learning seeks an experienced Nursing instructor to teach Practical Nursing on-site in Provo. The role involves classroom and clinical instruction, developing engaging content, and maintaining student records.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed RN or LPN with current licensure, a nursing degree, and the ability to mentor students, align with safety standards, and participate in program committees. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with current licensure in the state you are applying to teach.
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
Master’s in Nursing or Bachelor’s in Nursing depending on State and Program.
Able to meet the faculty requirements set by the Board of Nursing.
Experience demonstrating ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings; work independently; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Instruct students in the areas of Practical Nursing.
Review and implement innovative teaching methodologies and techniques.
Demonstrate or acquire skills for utilizing online activities to enhance course content/material.
Review and revise syllabi for courses within the program and instructional guidelines.
Submit program reports to the Director in a timely manner.
Maintain current technologies and safety regulations; keep student records up to date.
