Unitek Learning seeks an experienced Nursing instructor to teach Practical Nursing on-site in Provo. The role involves classroom and clinical instruction, developing engaging content, and maintaining student records.
The ideal candidate will be a licensed RN or LPN with current licensure, a nursing degree, and the ability to mentor students, align with safety standards, and participate in program committees. On-site work is required.

Instruct Students in the areas of Practical Nursing.
Job responsibilities:
Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing andutilizingdifferent and innovative methodologies / techniques in teaching.
Demonstrate or willing toacquireskills forutilizingonline activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learning.
Assistwith reviewing andrevisingsyllabusfor specificcourseswithin the program and instructional guidelines.
Submit required program reports and forms tothe Directorof the programin a timely manner.
Keep current withnew technologiesand safety regulations.
Maintains student records of attendance, grades, and skills check-off forms andassistswith program data collection that meets set due dates and deadlines.
Assistswith updating andmaintainingstudentfiles asrelated to clinical requirements,immunizationsand educational requirements.
Teach courses at a variety of times and locations in response to program needs.
Teachesboth lecture content and clinical rotations (clinical rotations can be days, and/or evenings, on weekdays and/or weekends).
Participate in professional development;maintainCE hours to ensure renewed licensure, takes responsibility for staying current with college updates.
Activelyparticipatesin committees as assigned, based on availability, taking into consideration teaching responsibilities as a priority.
Regular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on site is an essential function of this position.
This role requires on-site collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
Master’s in NursingorBachelor’s in Nursingdepending on State and Program.
Able to meet the faculty requirements set by the Board of Nursing.
Experience whichdemonstrates:
Must obtain ATI, Assessment Technology Institute Certification within30 daysof hire (offered byUnitek).
Current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification.
