Job description

This IT Project Manager role on our PMO team puts you in charge of delivery from intake through close, running a mix of waterfall and Agile/Scrum work and choosing the right approach for each project. You own the project. The methodology, the plan, the team alignment, the call on what gets escalated, all of it runs through you.

You will sit between technical teams and business stakeholders, turning competing priorities into a plan everyone can move on. A lot of the work touches ecommerce, so that background helps, as does experience improving how a business actually runs. This is for someone who wants ownership and the visibility that comes with it, communicates clearly with technical and non-technical people alike, and treats deadlines as commitments rather than suggestions.

What You'll Do
  • Take full ownership of every phase of the project lifecycle, from gathering business requirements and stakeholder expectations to documenting scope and deliverables.
  • Drive successful delivery by monitoring and controlling scope, resources, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across the organization and with external partners, including managing competing priorities and resolving conflict.
  • Prepare and maintain project details, tracking milestones, deliverables, risks, critical paths, and dependencies.
  • Develop and monitor schedule baseline variances and submit project change requests as project progress and outcomes require.
  • Create and maintain project tracking tools, including the project schedule, status reports, risk logs, issues, and action items.
  • Facilitate project planning meetings with cross-functional teams to document deliverables and durations, assign resources, and build a comprehensive project schedule and timeline.
  • Perform critical path analysis to understand potential impacts to the schedule caused by deviations from the approved baseline plan.
  • Follow established PMO templates, tools, and governance processes.
  • Lead teams to achieve goals through collaboration, clear communication, and strong execution.
Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms for stakeholders at all levels.
