Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Project Manager (PM) to guide the development of our operating model, funding cycles, and team organization. This includes establishing communication pathways, prioritization structures, and ensuring the value return of projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with a core team to harmonize the plans that support our Innovation Pipeline and funding requirements. Additionally, this role will involve managing the interdependencies between our IT strategies and launch timelines.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the execution of the project plan, including core project management activities such as financial tracking and reporting (experience with SAP is a nice-to-have), resource forecasting and management, and maintaining project timelines.
• Collaborate with key team members to define and maintain the project scope.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive work plan that sequences all necessary activities to successfully complete the project.
• Regularly review project schedules with senior management, team members, and stakeholders to ensure alignment, and revise as needed.
• Define project objectives and metrics to measure success upon completion.
• Identify, create, and manage documentation to track project activities and ensure proper record-keeping.
• Ensure that all project information is well-documented and securely stored.
• Monitor project costs and manage the approval process for change requests.
• Establish a communication schedule to keep stakeholders, including internal teams, updated on project progress.
• Monitor the quality of work completed by the project team to ensure it meets established standards.
• Evaluate the project upon completion and recommend improvements based on lessons learned.
• Provide frequent progress updates and scorecards for review and alignment with the core team.
• Effectively manage conflict resolution and optimize team dynamics.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are properly allocated.
• Take a leadership role in facilitating discussions and driving decisions to accomplish key project tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of success in project management (PMP certification required).

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, including third parties and senior leadership.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, Jira, Tableau or Power BI, and SharePoint.
• Experience with SAP is a nice-to-have.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex projects and priorities.
