Job summary

Great Southwestern Construction, Inc. seeks a GSW PMO Solutions Engineer to diagnose inefficiencies and co-create digital solutions, focusing on Joulz and Azure-native infra.

You will automate workflows, develop integrations with ERP, SharePoint, and CRM tools, and apply AI/LLM approaches to streamline operations. Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience identifying problems and developing automation solutions.
  • 1 year of experience with Git/GitHub and rapid tooling (GitHub Copilot).
  • 5 years of experience developing workflows with Power Automate or other iPaaS/middleware.
  • 4 years of experience implementing enterprise software (CRM/ERP/PM software).
  • 2 years of experience or strong interest in AI/LLM development.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the PMO Solutions Lead to execute the PMO team's automation strategy.
  • Develop and maintain workflows using Joulz, Power Automate, and other tools to reduce manual tasks.
  • Assist in designing integrations between ERP (JD Edwards E1), SharePoint, Salesforce, and PM tools.
  • Build and maintain custom solutions across Joulz using C#, Dart/Flutter, SQL, and JS/TS.
  • Operate and maintain Azure and Kubernetes (AKS) infrastructure, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Flux CD, and Azure services.
  • Use AI coding assistants (Claude or GitHub Copilot) in development, documentation, and testing.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
  • Evaluate new technologies and platforms aligned with team goals.
  • Translate business pain points into technical requirements for automation projects.
  • Attend regularly and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work at a company-designed office or field location.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The GSW PMO Solutions Engineer will act as an internal consultant, partnering with regional operations and operational support teams to diagnose operational inefficiencies and co-create solutions that fit their unique needs. The Engineer will support and extend the technical capabilities of the Process Improvement function by building, automating, and maintaining digital solutions that streamline operations. A core focus of this role is Joulz, the team’s proprietary Azure-native, multi-tenant field-workforce management platform, contributing across the Flutter/Dart client, the C#/.NET 10 API, and the supporting Azure Kubernetes (AKS) infrastructure. The Engineer will play a crucial role in turning complex processes into intuitive and streamlined solutions and will explore and implement emerging technologies, including AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

This position is located onsite at our headquarters in Castle Rock, CO.

Essential Functions
  • Collaborate with the PMO Solutions Lead to execute the PMO team's technical vision and automation strategy
  • Develop and maintain workflows and automations using Joulz, Power Automate, and other scripting or workflow tools to reduce manual, repetitive tasks
  • Assist in the design and development of integrations between key business systems, including our ERP (JD Edwards E1), SharePoint, Salesforce and Project Management Tools, to ensure seamless data flow
  • Build and maintain custom solutions across the Joulz platform using skills in C#, Dart/Flutter, SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Help operate and maintain the platform’s Azure and Kubernetes (AKS) infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), GitOps deployments (Flux CD), and supporting Azure services (Azure SQL, Key Vault, Blob Storage); depth here is valued but not required at hire
  • Use AI coding assistants (Claude or GitHub Copilot) as part of day-to-day development, documentation, and testing
  • Support the technical needs of the GSW Project Management Operations technical team, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions to end-users
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for all developed solutions, ensuring clarity and ease of use
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and platforms that align with the team's goals
  • Act as a technical consultant to stakeholders, translating business pain points into formal technical requirements for new automation or application projects

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience identifying problems and developing & implementing automation and application solutions
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with version control (Git/GitHub) and rapid tooling (GitHub Copilot)
  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience developing workflows and automations with Power Automate, other iPaaS/middleware (e.g., Logic Apps, MuleSoft, Boomi), or fully custom API integrations
  • Minimum 4 years of experience participating in the planning and implementation of a new enterprise software application, such as a CRM, ERP, or Project Management Software
  • Minimum 2 years of experience or strong interest in AI/LLM development, including prompt engineering, working with models like GPT via APIs, or leveraging cloud-based AI services (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, Power Virtual Agents)
Preferred Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, information systems, or related field; combination of relevant education and experience (minimum 5 years) considered in lieu of degree
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Strong Excel skills, including Power Query and advanced formulas
  • Proficiency in at least one coding or scripting language such as C#, Dart, HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, PowerShell, SQL, or VBA (C#/.NET and Dart/Flutter are the team’s primary languages)
  • Solid understanding of how to work with REST APIs
  • Familiarity with web and application development frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET, CORE, Flutter)
  • Working familiarity with cloud and container infrastructure (Azure, Kubernetes/AKS) and CI/CD - preferred, not required
  • Effective use of AI coding assistants (Claude or GitHub Copilot)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to deconstruct complex operational processes.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary $110,000-$130,000 / year
    • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
