Job summary

KBR in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a Business Operations Manager to support a task order PMO. This role oversees daily business operations, aligns resources, budgets, schedules, risks, and requirements with program objectives.

You will lead operational staff, implement PMO processes, and provide financial reporting to senior management. Strong coordination across functional areas and disciplined execution are essential to drive performance in a high-demand government program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years of professional experience in business operations, program operations, or program management.
• Experience managing or overseeing budget, schedule, risk, and resource allocation activities.
• Experience implementing organizational policies, operational processes, or project management standards.
• Experience leading operational staff and supporting workforce requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily business operations for the task order PMO and coordinate functional support activities.
• Lead, train, and support operational staff while addressing staffing and workforce requirements.
• Implement methods, processes, and strategies to improve productivity and performance.
• Provide PMO process guidance to ensure consistent project management standards.
• Conduct reviews of budget, schedule, risk, staffing, and resources and coordinate actions.
• Manage cost plans and deliver business operations reporting to senior management.
• Resolve operations challenges through cross-functional coordination and problem-solving.
• Maintain and update the Program Management Plan and secure final approvals as directed.
• Perform additional duties to support mission and business requirements.
