Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a Summer 2027 Digital Technology PMO Intern to support the PMO by keeping project data accurate in the PPM tool and by gaining hands-on experience in project tracking, budgeting, and stakeholder collaboration.

The role partners with project leaders to ensure data currency and alignment with leadership reporting. You will learn foundational project management skills and how technology projects are governed across a global organization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
• Must have at least one academic term remaining after the internship concludes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Basic understanding of project management concepts and practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project and program managers to update and maintain project information within the PPM platform.
• Assist with project setup and ongoing administration, including milestones, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and KPIs.
• Participate in project and program meetings to gather status updates for tracking and reporting.
• Support the accuracy and quality of leadership reporting by keeping data complete and up to date.
• Provide guidance to project managers on correcting common data errors and navigating the PPM tool.
• Develop and strengthen program management skills through exposure to planning, governance, and reporting processes.
