Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Manager of Projects to launch and lead its PMO. This role will oversee a team of Project Managers and support staff, providing strategic direction for complex industrial and capital equipment projects.

You will partner across Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Field Services, Sales, and Finance to ensure on-time, on-budget project execution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of project management in industrial, energy, manufacturing, or capital equipment
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing project professionals
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost control, contract administration, and profitability
• Proficiency with project management software and ERP systems; PMP and EPC preferred

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers and project support professionals
• Oversee multiple concurrent industrial and capital equipment projects, ensuring they remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations
• Establish consistent project management processes, monitor performance, and drive accountability and continuous improvement
• Review project budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, change orders, risks, and financial performance
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Field Services, Sales, Finance, and customers to resolve issues and ensure successful project execution
