We are seeking an experienced PMO Analyst to support the delivery of projects and programs across a manufacturing organization. This is a 6-month contract position based in Omaha, Nebraska, with a hybrid work arrangement that includes travel to the office every other week (travel expenses reimbursed). You will track project performance, produce reporting and dashboards, maintain governance standards, and help project teams stay on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update project schedules, plans, and resource allocations using MS Project
- Manage work items, backlogs, sprints, and project tracking in Azure DevOps
- Design, build, and maintain project portfolio dashboards and KPI reports in Power BI
- Monitor project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets, and elevate concerns early
- Prepare weekly and monthly status reports for project managers, steering committees, and executives
- Support the implementation and enforcement of PMO standards, templates, processes, and methodologies
- Coordinate portfolio-level reporting, including resource utilization, forecasting, and benefits tracking
- Support projects delivered within SAP environments, including tracking SAP-related milestones, dependencies, and releases
- Facilitate project meetings, capture minutes and actions, and follow up on deliverables
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across PMO tools and reporting systems
Qualifications
Required
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (boards, backlogs, sprints, work item tracking, reporting)
- Proven experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, data visualization)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Project (scheduling, dependencies, critical path, baselines, resource management)
- 6–7 years of total work experience in a PMO, project coordination, or project/program support role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Preferred
- Experience working in an SAP environment (e.g., SAP implementation, rollout, or support projects)
- PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or Scrum certification
- Experience connecting Azure DevOps data to Power BI for automated reporting
- Familiarity with portfolio management tools (e.g., Planview, Project Online, Smartsheet)
- Experience with SQL or other data querying tools
- Exposure to project financial tracking and budget forecasting
