Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a PMN Project Manager to lead and coordinate network modernization efforts, secure mission networks, and ensure high-quality performance across PMN infrastructure.

You will support day-to-day technical oversight, customer coordination, and the planning and execution of activities spanning engineering and architecture for PMN modernization and Zero Trust initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent years of experience.
• 6+ years of Project Management experience (or 10 years of experience without a degree).
• Secret / T3 clearance with ability to obtain TS / T5.
• PMP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and support daily engineering execution across PMN network environments.
• Support program reporting, customer communication, and delivery of technical updates to CORs, KO, and government stakeholders.
• Guide staff development, onboarding, and documentation improvements for operational processes.
• Assist with modernization efforts and technology integration supporting PACOM’s transition from legacy CENTRIXS networks to PMN.

Job description

The PMN Project Manager (DPM) supports the Network & Systems Administration Teams in managing, securing, and modernizing critical PACOM Mission Network (PMN)infrastructure. This role assists the Program Manager in day‑to‑day technical oversight, customer coordination, planning, and execution of activities spanning the engineering and architecture of PMN modernization and Zero Trust initiatives and CENTRIXS network migration support. The PMN PM ensures mission readiness, operational continuity, and high‑quality performance across all network & systems administration functions.

HOW THE PMN PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Provide technical leadership and support daily engineering execution across PMN network environments.
• Support program reporting, customer communication, and delivery of technical updates to CORs, KO, and government stakeholders.
• Guide staff development, training alignment, onboarding, and documentation improvements for operational processes.
• Assist with modernization efforts and technology integration supporting PACOM’s transition from legacy CENTRIXS networks to PMN.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your project management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The PMN Project Manager must have:

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or Engineering discipline (or equivalent years of experience)
• Experience: 6+ years of Project Management experience (or 10 years of experience without a degree)
• Security clearance level: Secret / T3 with ability to obtain TS / T5
• Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) required

Additional Qualifications:

• Ability to be on customer site as needed
• Flexibility to support 24/7/365 operations
• An understanding of the Pacific theater and direct experience with PACOM preferred
• Experience with Jira & ServiceNow preferred
• Experience managing Microsoft software delivery and development helpful
