General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE network engineering, modernization, and mission partner interoperability at JBPH-H on the Hawaii installation. The role emphasizes planning, engineering, and coordinating complex network capabilities across partner environments.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of hands-on experience, CCNP or 8140 equivalent, and a Final Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in related networking or IT field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in networking/enterprise IT environments.
• Final Secret security clearance.
• CCNP or 8140 "advanced" equivalent certification.
• Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, engineer, and support MPE network capabilities aligned to MPE Network Engineering.
• Analyze network performance, interoperability, and resiliency needs across mission partner environments.
• Provide tactical data link expertise to support joint, coalition, and mission partner interoperability.
• Coordinate technical requirements involving operational communications, network integration, and data exchange across partner environments.
• Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.

GDIT is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE Network Engineering activities at JBPH-H, helping modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.

How the Network Engineer Senior Will Make an Impact

• Plan, engineer, and support MPE network capabilities aligned to MPE Network Engineering.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Education: BA/BS degree in related networking or IT field
• Required Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment.
• Required Technical Skills: tactical data links; joint/coalition interoperability; MPE network integration; operational coordination; technical analysis; mission partner communications.
• Security Clearance Level: Final Secret.
• Required Certification: CCNP or 8140 "advanced" equivalent
• Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
• Preferred Skills: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments. Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders. Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking.
• Location: On customer site at JBPH-H.
