Job summary

Voices for Voices in Washington seeks a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join the Integrated Clinical Care Team. You will diagnose, conduct examinations, and prescribe medications for patients with psychiatric-mental health needs.

You will develop appropriate treatment plans, manage patient care with proper evaluation, and may educate staff, families, and groups while participating in policy development and healthcare reform efforts.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing is required.
• Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Licensed to provide services (ARNP and RN) in Washington state, for adults and children.
• 3 years' experience as PMHNP.
• BLS/CPR and AED certifications.
• WA State driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, conduct and prescribe medications for patients with psychiatric-mental health conditions.
• Perform physical and psychosocial examinations.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and provide management of patient care with proper evaluation.
• Educate and consult staff, families, and groups; participate in policy development and healthcare reform.
