Job summary
Preferra Insurance seeks a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join the Integrated Clinical Care Team. You will diagnose, conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, provide psychiatric services, and prescribe medications for patients with mental health needs, while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and support staff.
The role emphasizes developing treatment plans, delivering physical and psychosocial evaluations, and contributing to policy development and quality
Qualifications
- Must have Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing.
- Board-Certified PMHNP.
- Licensed in Washington state (ARNP/RN) for adults and children.
- At least 3 years' PMHNP experience.
- BLS/CPR and AED certifications.
- WA Driver's License required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with psychiatric-mental health conditions.
- Provide psychiatric services and physical/psychosocial examinations.
- Develop treatment plans and manage patient care.
- Educate and consult with staff, families, and groups.
- Support policy development and quality improvement.
