Job summary

Columbia River Mental Health Services in Vancouver, Washington is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a full-time, on-site role. The PMHNP will conduct initial and follow-up evaluations, manage medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver timely, high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds an active ARNP/PA license, CPR certification, and DEA eligibility, with prior behavioral health prescribing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted ARNP or PA license.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ year experience in behavioral health prescribing.
• Experience with diverse patient populations.
• Ability to obtain DEA registration prior to hire.
• Credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid and private insurers.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and follow-up psychiatric evaluations.
• Provide medication management and treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with medical staff and other providers.
• Order labs and interpret results.
• Maintain confidential medical records and document within 24 hours.
• Coordinate care with counselors and community providers.
• Manage coordination of mental health with medical care as needed.
