Job summary

Mind Body Optimization 1 is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care in an outpatient setting in Prosper, TX. The role includes psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing required.
• Current PMHNP or PMHNP-BC licensure.
• 5–10 years of healthcare/mental health administration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, DHS, State Regulations, and Federal Regulatory Standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Formulate accurate psychiatric diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans, incorporating therapy and medication management.
• Manage psychotropic medication regimens, including initiation, titration, and monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments for patients experiencing acute mental health issues.
• Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and families about psychiatric conditions, treatment options, medication adherence, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system and ensure regulatory compliance.
