Job summary

Mind Body Optimization 1 is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in Lubbock, TX. The role emphasizes evaluation, diagnosis, and development of personalized treatment plans with medication management and therapy.

The position requires PMHNP licensure and 5–10 years of healthcare/mental health administration experience. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and ensure regulatory compliance in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing required.
• PMHNP or PMHNP-BC licensure required.
• 5–10 years healthcare/mental health administration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, DHS, state and federal regulations.
• TB testing, drug screening, and background check upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including patient history and mental status exams.
• Develop personalized treatment plans with therapy and medication management.
• Manage psychotropic medications, including initiation, titration, and monitoring.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments for acutely ill patients.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other providers.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
