Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks an experienced PMHNP to join our onsite team in Waupun, WI. The role emphasizes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and individualized treatment planning for patients with mental health conditions.

You will prescribe and manage psychiatric medications within licensure, monitor progress, and collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and therapists. Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted APRN license in the state of practice.
• Board Certified as a PMHNP-BC.
• Current national certification through ANCC or equivalent.
• Active DEA registration and prescriptive authority, if required.
• Prior experience in psychiatric/behavioral healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
• Diagnose and manage psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications within licensure and prescriptive authority.
• Monitor patients' treatment progress and medication effectiveness.
• Provide medication management and therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
• Assess suicide risk, self-harm, and safety concerns.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, therapists, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
• Provide patient and family education regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, clinical standards, and guidelines.
