Job summary

Foundry Front Range in Colorado is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, with an emphasis on safety and quality patient care.

The role requires Colorado licensure (PMHNP or PA-C) and DORA registration, 2+ years of PMHNP/psychiatric PA experience, and BLS. Evening and rotating weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• Masters of Science in Nursing or PA certificate with a Psychiatry/Mental Health emphasis from an accredited college.
• Must be licensed in Colorado as a PMHNP or PA-C and registered with DORA.
• 2+ years PMHNP or psych-added qualification PA experience; residential and detox experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric health services, education, counseling, and emotional support.
• Order diagnostics and labs, monitor psychotropic medication levels.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe treatments, including medications.
• Educate clients and families about conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation of services per JCAHO and BHA standards.
• Collaborate with Medical Providers and Directors to implement standard-of-care guidelines.
• Complete detox admission/discharge and RTC/PHP discharge summaries as indicated.
