Job summary
KorzenHealth is seeking a seasoned Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for our Montgomery outpatient behavioral health clinic. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with light weekend call, backed by a robust administrative team and collaborative physician support.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of PMHNP experience in Alabama, an active Alabama APRN license, and a current DEA registration.
Qualifications
- Board-certified PMHNP with domain expertise in outpatient psychiatry.
- Minimum 1 year PMHNP experience in Alabama.
- Active Alabama APRN license.
- Current DEA registration.
- Strong skills in medication management and clinical assessments.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed psychiatric assessments and follow-up visits.
- Manage medications and ongoing mental health care plans.
- Create and adjust evidence-based treatment plans.
- Administer outpatient psychiatric treatments.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and ensure compliance.
- Participate in shared weekend call rotation.
