Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• PMHNP or PMHNP-BC licensure.
• 5–10 years healthcare/mental health administration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, DHS, state and federal regulations.
• TB testing, drug screening, and background check on hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations with patient history, mental status, and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating therapy and medication management.
• Manage psychotropic medications: initiation, titration, and monitoring for efficacy/side effects.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments for acute cases.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other providers.
• Refer patients to higher levels of care when needed to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, adherence, and self-care.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure compliance with policies/regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
