Qualifications

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive authority.
• Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from an accredited program.
• Board Certification as a PMHNP.
• Active DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
• Diagnose psychiatric and behavioral health conditions across the lifespan.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychiatric medications in NY state.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust interventions as needed.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate integrated care.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, medications, and treatment.
• Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives.
