Job summary

CHE Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop and monitor treatment plans, and prescribe psychotropic medications.

We offer flexible scheduling (Mon-Fri, 7 AM-7 PM), competitive pay, no night shifts, and a strong, collaborative care environment with integrated teams across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• MSN in Psychiatric/Mental Health with ANCC PMHNP certification is required.
• Active DEA license is required.
• Experience with psychotropic medication management is required.
• Minimum 2 years of PMHNP experience is required.
• Family Nurse Practitioners with 3-5 years of psych experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with an integrated care team (psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, nursing staff).
• Distinguish and diagnose psychological vs. physiological disorders.
• Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases.
