Job summary

Mood Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide in-person and telehealth psychiatric care in Salinas, CA. The role supports patients ages 11 and up in a hybrid setting, combining clinic visits with telehealth options.

Ideal candidates have CA PMHNP licensure, DEA license, and 2+ years with adolescents and adults, including ADHD, anxiety, depression and mood disorders. EHR fluency and Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active California PMHNP license and furnishing number.
• Active or pending California DEA license.
• 2+ years treating adolescents (11–17) and adults.
• Experience diagnosing ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia.
• Hybrid care delivery: in-person and virtual.
• Proficiency with EHR and telehealth platforms.
• Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and telehealth psychiatric care to adolescents (11+) and adults.
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage medications with safety and efficacy focus.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation per standards.
• Participate in case consultations and team collaboration.
• Build strong therapeutic rapport with diverse patients.
