MOOD Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide in-person and telehealth psychiatric care in Salinas, CA, for adolescents and adults. The role emphasizes collaborative, patient-centered care with flexible scheduling and a supportive team.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage treatment plans for anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar, schizophrenia, and related conditions, while ensuring safety and comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• Active California PMHNP license and furnishing number.
• Active California DEA license or in process.
• 2+ years treating adolescents (11+) and adults.
• Experience diagnosing treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders.
• Hybrid care delivery: in-person and virtual.
• Proficiency with EHR and telehealth platforms.
• Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and telehealth psychiatric care to adolescents (11+) and adults.
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage medications with attention to safety and education.
• Maintain timely, complete clinical documentation according to state standards.
• Participate in case consultations and peer collaboration.
• Build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
