Job summary

CHE Behavioral Health Services is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) or experienced Physician Assistants to provide psychiatric care in long-term care and rehabilitation settings. CHE is a clinician-led organization serving 100,000+ patients across 800+ facilities in 11+ states.

You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and collaborate with an integrated care team.

Qualifications

• MSN – Psychiatric/Mental Health with ANCC PMHNP certification for NH.
• Experience in psychotropic medication management.
• Active DEA license in NH.
• Optional Family Nurse Practitioners with 3–5 years of psych experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with an integrated care team.
• Distinguish and diagnose psychological vs physiological disorders.
• Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases.
