Job summary

Community Service Board of Middle Georgia is hiring a PMHNP-BC for our new Behavioral Health Crisis Center in Dublin, GA. The role involves comprehensive psychiatric and medical evaluations, medication management, and discharge planning to stabilize individuals in crisis.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team, document thoroughly, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate behavioral health care.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, active, and unrestricted NP license in the state of practice.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical and psychiatric rounds on CSU/TO patients at least every 24 hours and document findings.
• Perform psychiatric and medical evaluations for individuals in crisis and initiate treatment.
• Manage medication reconciliation and discharge prescriptions.
• Review referrals, place admission orders, and participate in Doc-to-Doc consultations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan care and discharge.
• Ensure orders are reviewed, signed, and compliant with regulations.
