Job summary

CHE Behavioral Health Services is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) or experienced Physician Assistants to provide psychiatric care in long-term care and rehabilitation settings across multiple facilities in New Hampshire.

You will work in a clinician-led, collaborative environment with flexible, weekday-only scheduling (Mon–Fri), and no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements, promoting work-life balance.

Qualifications

• MSN – Psychiatric/Mental Health with NH PMHNP certification.
• Experience in psychotropic medication management.
• Active DEA license in NH.
• Optional: Family Nurse Practitioners with 3–5 years of psych experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Collaborate with an integrated care team (psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, nursing staff)
• Distinguish and diagnose psychological vs. physiological disorders
• Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases
