Job summary

Spectrum Medical Partners seeks a PMHNP for autonomous, physician-led care across multiple facilities in Daytona, Port Orange, and vicinity. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, order tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients while coordinating with facility staff.

The role offers professional growth, collaboration with an experienced physician-led group, and exposure to a diverse patient population in post-acute settings. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida APRN license in good standing.
• National Board Certification as PMHNP.
• DEA license required.
• Post-acute care experience required.
• 1 year of psychiatric experience preferred (training available for the right candidate).
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, record patient histories, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and facility staff.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and psychiatric conditions.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
• Participate in case reviews, consultations, and ongoing care coordination.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and reporting standards.

About The Role

PHA is seeking a dedicated PMHNP to join our growing team. You will provide psychiatric care across multiple skilled nursing facilities, collaborating with staff and ensuring the highest quality of patient-centered care. This position offers autonomy, professional growth, and the support of an experienced physician-led group.
