Spectrum Medical Partners is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for full-time, Monday-Friday coverage across multiple skilled nursing facilities in Boca Raton, Clewiston, and West Palm Beach. The PMHNP will collaborate with supervising physicians and facility staff to provide comprehensive psychiatric care and maintain detailed patient records.

The role offers autonomy and professional growth within an experienced physician-led group.

Qualifications

• Active Florida APRN license in good standing.
• National PMHNP board certification.
• DEA license required.
• Post-acute care experience preferred.
• 1 year of psychiatric experience preferred (training available).
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and record patient histories.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Educate patients on health promotion and psychiatric conditions.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.

About The Role

PHA is seeking a dedicated PMHNP to join our growing team. You will provide psychiatric care across multiple skilled nursing facilities, collaborating with staff and ensuring the highest quality of patient-centered care. This position offers autonomy, professional growth, and the support of an experienced physician-led group.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, record patient histories, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and facility staff.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and psychiatric conditions.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
• Participate in case reviews, consultations, and ongoing care coordination.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• National Board Certification as PMHNP.

• 1 year of psychiatric experience preferred (training available for the right candidate).
