Job summary

Balanced Wellbeing Nationwide in the United States seeks a PMHNP to provide psychiatric care in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, with a focus on evidence-based pharmacotherapy and comprehensive evaluations.

You will work weekdays, with minimal travel within the Bennington area, and participate in team meetings, documentation, and care planning to support vulnerable populations.

Qualifications

• Active APRN license as a PMHNP in the state applying for.
• National board certification (ANCC or equivalent)
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• Psychiatric experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests as appropriate.
• Participate in GDR and psychotropic medication review meetings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, facility staff, and families.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Meet daily productivity and encounter expectations.
• Respond to facility needs as appropriate (no formal on-call)
