Ashland University is seeking a PMHNP Coordinator to lead the PMHNP track within the Dwight Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences. The roleCollaborates with the Director of Graduate Nursing Programs to develop and revise curriculum and ensure accreditation readiness.

The successful candidate will hold a doctoral PMHNP and Ohio RN licensure and will engage in recruitment, orientation, and external partnerships to support student success and program excellence.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (DNP or PhD).
• Current valid RN licensure in Ohio.
• National PMHNP certification.
• Ohio PMHNP credentialing.
• Official transcripts validating academic prep.
• Clinical practice aligned with PMHNP recertification.
• CE requirements maintained for PMHNP recertification.
• Membership in professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the PMHNP track in collaboration with the Director of Graduate Nursing Programs.
• Collaborate on curriculum development, implementation, and revisions to meet standards.
• Evaluate the PMHNP track and prepare accreditation reports.
• Participate in PMHNP student recruitment activities and planning.
• Develop orientation and on-campus experiences to ensure competency attainment.
• Coordinate with the Graduate Nursing Placement Coordinator on clinical needs and placements.
• Develop relationships with external partners.

Education

Doctoral degree (DNP or PhD)

Current valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio

Nationally Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Credentialling as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Ohio

Official transcripts verifying academic preparation

Maintains clinical practice consistent with the requirements for PMHNP recertification

Maintains CE consistent with the requirements for PMHNP recertification

Maintains membership in professional organizations
