Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver direct psychiatric care to incarcerated patients, adhering to state licenses and collaborative practice policies.

You will perform psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management, while coordinating with mental health, medical, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education: MSN or post-master PMHNP cert.
• Minimum one year PMHNP experience.
• Corrections PMHNP experience preferred.
• Unrestricted PMHNP license.
• Current PMHNP board certification.
• Current DEA registration and optionality per leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, treatment, follow-up care and medication management.
• Monitor effectiveness and side effects of psychotropic meds and educate patients.
• Collaborate with mental health, medical and administrative teams for coordinated care.
• Complete timely clinical documentation and participate in required meetings and on-call coverage.
• Support crisis intervention, referrals, transfers and involuntary treatment as allowed.
