Job summary

American Addiction Centers is seeking a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join the multidisciplinary team at AdCare Hospital. You will deliver high-quality, direct clinical care, perform psychiatric evaluations, detox management, and MAT in collaboration with psychiatry and other clinicians.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, ordering labs, and documenting encounters in the EMR.

Qualifications

Comply with HIPAA and Title 42 CFR requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication; bedside manner and time management.
Demonstrate effective teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting.
Interact professionally with diverse socioeconomic, educational, racial, ethnic and professional backgrounds.
Be computer literate and adept at using EMR systems.
Organize and prioritize workload to deliver high-quality care and meet deadlines.
Maintain facility credentialing and privileging requirements.
Uphold high ethical standards in interactions with staff, patients and public.

Responsibilities

Performs psychiatric evaluations, follow-ups, detox management, and MAT per SOP.
Psych Evals within 48 hours of admission.
Orders labs and prescribes medications and treatments.
Participates in treatment plan development and implementation.
Consults with physicians/clinicians for patient-specific needs.
Documents encounters and test results in the EMR.
Active member of the clinical team and attends medical staff meetings.
Contributes to education and quality review; supports committees.
